How long does the Cuta-Copter fly?
The Cuta-Copter is able to to do 3-5 bait drops to a distance of 300m.
Why the bait box design?
The bait box allows the craft to carry up to 1kg of feed or other bait. The centre of gravity is central which make for a safer and more stable flying craft. Also, an open bait dangling under the craft can attract seagulls or even swing into the props. The bait box eliminates these issues and is the best method to hold and deliver bait safely.
What is the spares availability?
Because the Cuta-Copter is locally assembled and many parts are made locally, there is full availability of spares. Also, all servicing or upgrades can be done locally without the need to send the craft overseas.
How easy is it to fly the Cuta-Copter?
Easy is the word. Within 30 minutes you will be able to operate the Cuta-Copter.
What happens if the battery goes flat?
The Cuta-Copter has low battery protection. It is programmed to land on the launch site when the battery reaches a certain point. Therefore the Cuta-Copter will be back home safely before the battery is critically low.
How far can you fly the Cuta-Copter?
The limits are set to 500M and 25M height above launch site. They can be adjusted.
Why should I choose the Cuta-Copter over something else?
The Cuta-Copter is purpose designed for the fisherman. It has robust shock absorbing landing gear, something that other models do not have. It is a simple, easy to operate system. It is expandable and can carry different cameras. The colour scheme is made for high visibility. Most importantly, the operating costs are very low. Batteries are well priced compared to other Drones and spare parts are affordable.
